22nd National Congress SIMeL: How can laboratory medicine change?

Italian Society of Clinical Biochemistry (SIBioC) and the Italian Society of Laboratory Medicine (SIMeL) are going to hold their annual National Congresses together for the first time. SIMeL and SIBioC look at the joint congress with great relevance and importance for the future of the laboratory medicine in Italy.

53nd meeting of JIB (Journées Internationales de Biologie)

Annual meeting of clinical biology, the JIB (Journées Internationales de Biologie) will be held at the CNIT Convention Centre in Paris, on November 5 to 7, 2008.

The JIB combines an expanding exhibition with a top level scientific biomedical congress and gathers every year an increasing number of participants, biology wide actors, among them 20% of foreigners. Liberal and hospital biologists, internship students, researchers, laboratories technicians and secretaries…they were nearly 9 500 to meet at the 2007 edition to get information about the latest scientific developments, to dialogue and discover the new technologies innovations exhibited by more than 160 companies.

This year, a new sector will be pointed up, via the BioMI pole, dedicated to Molecular Biology.
